What to Expect During Your EICR Inspection

During a full EICR inspection, our NICEIC-approved electrician will examine all accessible parts of your electrical installation. This includes the consumer unit or fuse box, all fixed wiring, earthing and bonding arrangements, sockets, switches, light fittings and any permanently connected equipment such as electric showers or ovens.

Each circuit is tested using calibrated equipment to verify continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and RCD functionality. The results are compared against BS 7671 requirements and any deviations are classified as C1, C2, C3 or FI. You receive a full written report explaining each observation in plain English.
